She married Matthias Jackman 6 November 1841 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(220) Matthias was born about 1814 probably in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts. Death record stated age at death as 34, born in Newbury. He was the son of Matthias Atkinson Jackman and Nabby Warthen.

Matthias died 23 September 1848 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 34. He wife Almira was listed as head of household in 1850 census.

Almira Dutton and Matthias Jackman had the following child:
