She married Anthony Smith Stevens 9 May 1830 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(216) Anthony was born Est. 1805 possibly in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts. (Perhaps the Anthony Smith Stearns, son of Samual, baptized 15 November 1807 in Newburyport.)

Anthony died before 1850 census probably in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age unknown. His wife was listed as head of household for the family.

Lydia Giddings Dutton and Anthony Smith Stevens had the following child:
