2. Elijah (Eliphalet)2 Dunning (James1)(257) was born 24 April 1820. Elijah died after September 1873 probably in Massachusetts, at age 53.(258)

He married Henrietta Lowell September 1873 in Methuen, Essex Co., MA.(259) Henrietta was born in Methuen, Essex Co., MA.(260) She was the daughter of Hazen Lowell.

Elijah (Eliphalet) Dunning and Harriet Dutton had the following children:

• 3 i. Florence Louisa3 Dunning was born in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts 5 April 1858.(261)

• 4 ii. Frank Parker Dunning was born in Portland, Cumberland Co., Maine 1 September 1861.(262)
