2. David2 Caldwell (John1) was born probably in Hillsbourgh Co., New Hampshire 28 November 1767 or 1769.(112) David died after 1798 at age 31.

He married Anna Dutton about 1791 probably in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts. Anna was born 4 August 1771 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(113) She was the daughter of Thomas Dutton and Anna Coffin.

David Caldwell and Anna Dutton had the following children:

• 3 i. Lewis Deblois3 Caldwell was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 17 October 1792.(114)

• 4 ii. Benjamin Dutton Caldwell was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 22 November 1794.(115)

• 5 iii. Mary Ann Caldwell was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 14 September 1796.(116)
