He married Susanna Moers 20 November 1760 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(431) Susanna was born 5 June 1742 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(432) She was the daughter of Jonathan Moers Jr. and Bethia Bishop.

John Follansbee and Susanna Moers had the following child:

• 4 i. Phebe Parsons4 Follansbee was born in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts 30 September 1773.(433) (age at death given as "76yrs, 11 mos.") Phebe died 26 July 1850 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 76.(434) She married Stephen Coffin Dutton 3 December 1797 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(435) Stephen was born 22 January 1773 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(436) He was the son of Thomas Dutton and Anna Coffin.
