He married Deborah Coffin 31 October 1677 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(527) Deborah was born 10 November 1655 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(528) She was the daughter of Tristram Coffin and Judith Greenleaf Somerby.

Ens. Joseph Knight and Deborah Coffin had the following child:

Judeth2 Knight was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 23 October 1678.(529) She married Daniel Noyes 29 December 1702 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(530) Daniel was born 23 October 1673 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(531) He was the son of John Noyes and Mary Poore.
