She married Horace B. Shepard 14 February 1882 in Somerville, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.(476) Horace was born 10 April 1855 in Dorchester, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.(477) He died after 1930. He was the son of Otis ShepardJr. and Emily Elizabeth Blanchard.

Florence Olivia Gant and Horace B. Shepard had the following children:

• 203 iv. Irving Minot Shepard was born in Brookline, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts 9 December 1886.(481) Irving died before January 1920 possibly in Massachusetts, at age 33. His wife, as a widow, and his children were living next door to his parents on the 1920 census. He married Mary B. ? by 1915 probably in Massachusetts. On the 1920 census May, and her children were living next door to Horace B. and Florence Shepard. She was listed as a widow. Living in her household as in-laws were Horace W. and Elizabeth W. Shepard.

  Mary was born about 1890 in Vermont.

• 204 v. Eliot Blanchard Shepard was born in Brookline, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts in April 1891.(482) He married Esther H. ? by 1918 possibly in Massachusetts.(483) Esther was born about 1892 in Pennsylvania.(484)
