75. George Pettingal4 Adams (Mary March3 Dutton, Benjamin2, Thomas1) was born in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts 5 April 1845.(420)

He married Georgia (Georgianna) Bailey 8 November 1883 possibly in Massachusetts.(421) They may have been married in Wisconsin. Both children were born there.

Georgia was born 4 January 1855 in Illinois. According to the 1900 census, she was born in Illinios in June 1855. Her father was from New York, and her mother was from Louisiana.

George Pettingal Adams and Georgia (Georgianna) Bailey had the following children:

• 178 i. Florence Bailey5 Adams was born in Wisconsin 16 September 1884.(422)

• 179 ii. George Cheever Adams was born in Wisconsin 5 November 1885.(423) He perhaps married by 1920. There is a George C. Adams living as a son-in-law in a household in Wauwatosa City, on the 1920 census. The family names are illegiable. He married Norma Zimmerman? about 1920 in Wisconsin.(424) According to the 1930 census, they had been married 10 years.

  Norma was born about 1892 in Wisconsin.
