Member of the American Kiteflyers Association (AKA) and Kites Over New England (KONE) I created the NEKITE mailing list for New England Kiteflyers to exchange information and ideas.

HAM RADIO OPERATOR: N1JDU
Longtime member, (and current President) of the Waltham Amateur Radio Association . Also belong to the Boston Amateur Radio Club , the Crocker Public Service Group and the American Radio Relay League . I hold a Technician Class license. I operate an electronic weather station on APRS that broadcasts 24hrs / 7 days a week. While I send the data over the radio other hams transfer that data to the internet. AMATEUR ASTRONOMER:
Former member of the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club (near Boston) I own an 8" Coulter Dobsonian, a pair of 20x80 binoculars, a 80mm Orion Short Tube and a Celestron 102mm refractor.

AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER, VIDEOGRAPHER:
I have numerous 35mm cameras and now digital cameras as well. I also have a couple of medium format film cameras. Among the 35mm cameras are three stereo (3D) cameras. I also have a digital camcorder and have produced shows for broadcast on cable access TV. I am a member of the Board of Directors of Malden Access TV . I currently am the director of a weekly live show Wrestling Center . Money to pay the bills comes from working in a professional photo lab.

KITE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHER:
This is a combination of my kite flying activities and my photography activities. By using a special camera cradle (and a fairly large kite) I can hoist a camera up on a kite line and take aerial photos remotely.
