Directions / Stuff to bring
It usually takes 3-4 hours to get there, depending on traffic and where
folks are starting from.
Directions from Washington, D.C., Northern VA, and Baltimore:
Get onto I-70 West.
From WDC area, it's easiest to use I-270 North, which is accessible from the Beltway and has an exit for I-70 West.
Take I-70 West to I-68 West.
Take Exit 14A onto Route 219 South.
Travel south on rt. 219 about 17.8 miles to the light for Glendale Rd.
It's after you pass Wisp on the right, then cross over the lake.
Turn left onto Glendale Rd.
Use the map and house addresses to find your house.
Alternates:
From NVa, adventurous folks can get to I-70 West using 15 North instead of I-270.
There are roads other than 219 you can use, but 219 is recommended because it's a bigger road than others and has no turns to possibly miss. Adventurous folks can try MD-495 or New Germany Rd to get to Glendale Rd from the other direction.
House Openings:
Thursday at around 5pm, the 2 early breakaway houses will be opened: Quality Time and Z Lake Retreat.
Friday at around 5pm, the keys for the other houses will become available in Quality Time. First person from another house can pick up the keys there and open the house.
The phone number for Quality Time is (301)387-6860
Rides:
We'll send out everyone's ride-sharing preference in an email, so people
needing/wanting rides can find them. We've tried to match folks up in the past, and it just
doesn't work well. New folks should feel free to contact their den parent if they need help
finding a ride.
