What a finely conditioned (thanks to the winter program) group of athletes - complete with mascot. We had three beautiful days to play - below normal temps and no rain-outs!  |

After two games on the third day, several said "I'm tired, I have to work (what's that??),
I have to play tonight, etc." But 24 softball fanatics stayed to play their 7th game.
That really mixed the players. |

Many players said they really enjoy playing with the variety of people from all the
conferences. I know I do! Thanks to everyone for participating.  |

| Speed merchants Nancy Mason and Don Meli pinch ran many
times. Here Nancy scores the winning run in the first game on Wednesday morning against blue. The score was tied 7-7 going into the bottom of the 7th, when light hitting Owen Lee lead off with a single; let Nancy pinch run and cross home plate for the win on Jeff Klop's triple with two out.  |
