NORTH   BOONE   ALUMNI   REMEMBERED We sadly miss the following members of our high school that have passed away. Our sympathy and prayers are with their families and friends.

From the 52 graduates of the class of 1959:
1) Larry "Jumbo" Houpt passed away May 27, 1994.   Larry was born June 30, 1941.   I worked with Larry making commercial ovens at KKO in Capron during the summers while I was attending college.   Larry was easy to get along with, and was a good friend!

2) Frank Wilcox passed away July 6, 1994. Frank was born November 15, 1939, and died of heat stroke while working outdoors during a very hot spell.

3) Karen (Johnston) Schupp passed away August 18, 1994.   Karen was born August 11, 1941, and grew up in the country on Hunter road just a short distance east of the Capron road.   She died of a heart attack while driving along the Poplar Grove road.

4) Lewis Peterson passed away January 24, 2001.   He lived in Jamestown, MO.

5) Donna (Schmitt) Gardner passed away August 17, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
