General Information
The Skyland Star Gazers is a group of amateur astronomers
who share observing as a common interest in astronomy.
The organization was founded in 1994. The membership is about fifteen.
Besides observing, some of the members are active in photography
and UACNJ activities.
Meetings
Meetings of SSG are held sporatically at several members' homes located in and around
East Hanover, NJ.
Activities
SSG is a member of the UACNJ and has access to the observatory at Jenny
Jump State Forest near Hope, one of the darkest observing sites in the state.
SSG is one of three clubs currently building an observatory on the UACNJ site.
