Observatory at Jenny Jump
Observer Form and Public Program Schedule
Following is a summation of the benefits and obligations of being an Observer at
the UACNJ Observatory at Jenny Jump, as well as this years' observer form which
you can print, complete and mail in. The questions on the form are to help us
organize our programs as well as get ideas for the future of the facility.
Observership Benefits:

The gate and house combinations allows you to use this dark-sky facility whenever
you wish for your own observing, astrophotography, or astronomy projects 365.25
days/year. (The facility has a full kitchen, bath, overnight bunk rooms
and security cabinets available to Observers.)

|
You are eligible to become qualified on the 16-inch telescope
(as well as new instrumentation as it is installed).

|
Observer fee supports the building and maintenance costs of the UACNJ
observatory and education center.
|
Observer Obligations:
|
$20 (or $25) annual fee (see below)
|
|
Be available on at least two nights for public duty per year
(Saturday evenings - see observer form)
|
Observer Fees:
Observership is open to any member of a UACNJ Club.
$20 for Regular Observers ($25 if not from a UACNJ observatory "supporting" club),
$50 for Sustaining Observers (those who wish to help us support the facility)
(Note: The UACNJ is a Non-Profit tax exempt educational organization.
Since all observer fees are used to support the facility, they are tax deducable
(as are any other contributions).
Checks should be made in the appropriate amount payable to:
