Barbados

Barbados is the easternmost island in the Lesser Antilles!

It's 200 miles NNE of Trinidad

166 square miles with the Caribbean Sea to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east

Included in some of the lore of the island is the source of the name Barbados,
it is supposed to have come from the bearded fig trees that grow on the island.

The normal temps in the winter are 70 to 85ºF and summers are 76 to 87ºF and more humid.

Annual rainfall is 40 to 75 inches depending where you are on the island.

The south and west coasts are surrounded by coral fringe reefs as well as offshore reefs.
