The Empresa of the Plaza de Toros de Santamaria of Bogota, Colombia, has published the cartels for the 2009 Feria de Bogota. It will start wit a novillada on Saturday January 17, 2009, and will close with a corrida de toros on Sunday February 22. The program includes one novillada, five corridas, one corrida mixta and one corrida de rejones. The presence of José Tomás on the cartel of the corrida of  February 8 is the highlight of the program, since this will be the only time that this superstar will be performing in the 2008-9 Winter Taurine Season of South America. This is the program scheduled for the feria:

Saturday January, 17: novillos from “Armerías” for Juan Solanilla, José
Manuel Mas and Sergio Blanco;

Sunday January 18: bulls from "Dosgutiérrez" for the rejoneadors
Alvaro Montes, Joao Moura Jr. and Jorge Enrique Piraquive;

Sunday January 25: bulls from Juan Bernardo Caicedo for matadors Pepe
Manrique, “Morante de la Puebla” and Julián López “El Juli”;

Sunday February 1: bulls from “Alhama” for matadors  David Fandila “El Fandi”,
Luis Bolívar and the rejoneador Joao Moura Jr;

- Sunday February 8: bulls from “Las Ventas del Espíritu Santo” for matadors
Sebastián Vargas, José Tomás and José María Manzanares;

- Sunday February 15: bulls from “Achury Viejo” for José Gómez
”Dinastía”, Cruz Ordóñez and Cristóbal Pardo;

- Sunday February 22: bulls from Juan Bernardo Caicedo for Julián
López “El Juli”, Luis Bolívar and Cayetano Rivera Ordoñez.
