From His Last Concert In Avignon

This recording contains music from the "Tutu" era with Darryl Jones playing bass. Mile's playing is very good and the band is hot. The first thing you notice from this performance is the intensity of the band and the presence of the percussionist. This recording contains a couple of unreleased songs: Wayne's Tune's and Movie Star. Miles Davis wrote the song "Movie Star" about Prince. All I can say about this recording is that this is one of the top three bootleg cds of Miles Davis. The sound quality is perfect and the musical performance is five stars. If you have heard other Miles Davis bootlegs that you thought were good check this one out. My Favorite song on this recording is "One Phone Call - Street Scenes" because, it is one of the best performance that I have ever heard by Miles Davis period. This performance was aired on Bravo and also has been recorded on video (Miles Davis and Band). A must have.
