Technical assistance
and help with parts identification is available for most LogEtronics manufactured
or branded film processors and on-line transporters.. This includes certain
models of OEM processors sold by Anitec, Linotype, Verityper, DuPont and
Kenro.
When contacting the service department, please have available the model number or name of the processor or camera about which you are inquiring and if possible, try to have your owners manual available. Over the years many models were given similar sounding names (LD-2600a, Systems 2600, Excel 26, Tek-26 etc.) and often there is some initial confusion over just what model is being discussed.
If you are calling with
a problem with the operation of your equipment please try to call
from a phone in the same room as the equipment and have your owner's manual
available. There have been many times when a problem has been solved
with a few button pushes.
When calling for service information
about on-line transporters please tell us the brand name and model
of the imager being used and
it's aproximate age. In the last two or three years all the film transporters
sold with LogE processors have been manufactured by Bray Imaging Technologies.
To avoid confusion with different versions of their circuit boards, we will
need to know the model and serial number of your Bray on-line conveyor.
Technical assistance and
help with parts identification is available for most LogE/Robertson MD and
ML series cameras as well as the vertical and horizontal cameras manufactured
by Robertson, the vertical cameras and platemakers manufactured by Kenro
and most of the vertical cameras manufactured by Klimsch.
When calling for assistance
please be prepared to describe the front panel controls of your camera as
several models had changes in their electronics over the life of the product.
Be aware that camera parts
are becoming difficult to obtain especially for older models.
In 1996 LogEtronics
sold the aerial photographic and medical/industrial CRT products
division to Egoltronics Corp. These products included the Aerial Contact
Printers and enlargers (MK II, MK IV, MK V, 1010AE etc.) Medical X-Ray
reducers (MC-35, MC-105 etc.) and electron microscopy enlargers (EM-55 etc).
