Motivational Interviewing Training Seminars include theory, processes, strategies, experiential skill building, spirit and techniques in the Miller and Rollnick Motivational Interviewing model, including new elements from MI3; and includes Prochaska and DiClemente's Stages of Change model and pertinent Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions.
Ms. Sciacca provides Dual Diagnosis on-going training seminars for dual diagnosis treatment and integrated program implementation. These on-going training events include experiential practice in many areas of dual diagnosis treatment and service delivery. She introduces several models in her dual diagnosis workshops and training events, these include practicing group treatment, group process & group dynamics; cognitive behavioral therapy; dual diagnosis treatment; motivational interviewing; and the stages of change. Each of these models is also taught separately in training seminars.

Ms. Sciacca has received training as trainer and a Certificate as Trainer of Motivational Interviewing in 1995. She is a member of the MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) since 1995. She has been providing Motivational Interviewing education, training, coaching, supervision and consulting since 1993. MI Seminars last from one-half day to three-days in length. Attendance in a three day seminar awards a certificate of course completion, 18 contact hours. NY State CEU's include: 18 clock hours NY State OASAS; 18 CEU's NY State Social Work; and 18 CEU's NY State LMHC. Ms. Sciacca is a Certified NY State OASAS trainer and MI faculty member. All of her course work includes NYS OASAS credit. Ms. Sciacca developed the first dual diagnosis treatment interventions and programs. She is a consultant, trainer and program developer in this field since 1984; she has thirty-six years of clinical experience in the addiction field and in the mental health field and across systems.
