B. Training Oportunities
The Education and Training Events section lists both past and upcoming training events for dual disorder training across the country.
C. Dual Diagnosis Literature, Articles, Chapters and Abstracts
This section includes a number of articles and chapters in their entirety for you to read and/or download. All publications are copyrighted, and have been made available for your personal use. They are not for reproduction or presentation without prior permission from the author.
A few publications include only the abstract. To acquire these articles in full you must request them from the author. Specifiy your request and include your complete mailing address in an email to ksciacca@pobox.com.
D. MIDAA Service Manual
This section describes the MIDAA Service Manual for program development and clinical tools. It also provides information about how to acquire the manual. This section also includes book reviews.
E. Education and Training Videos
This sections includes descriptions of dual diagnosis training videos, information about how to acquire them, and video reviews.
F. Educational and Program Materials Available to Order
This is a list of materials available to order and order forms to download.
G. Overview of Program Development and Training
This section describes education and training for dual disorders, including on-going training for program development, and workshops, seminars and lectures of various duration.

This section includes a more thorough overview of the background, experience and accomplishments of Kathleen Sciacca. Those who are interested in employing Ms. Sciacca for consulting and/or training services may find this document useful.
I. Bulletin Board
The bulletin board is intended to provide information regarding resources for dual diagnosis services and program development. Information pertaining to grants, RFP's, legislation, and other pertinent resources will take priority for listings here.
There are two options in this category: 1)Review the postings on the bulletin board by clicking on the heading(s)of interest; and 2)Submit information for posting to the bulletin board. Postings to the bulletin board will be at the discretion of the website maintainer. Each submission must include the source from which it was announced, or published.
J. Dual Diagnosis, MICA, MISA, MIDAA, Directory of Programs and Services
1. Locate dual diagnosis programs and services within each state, alphabetized by cities, towns, and counties.
2. Add dual diagnosis program listings to the directory. For consideration of your agency's inclusion in this on-line directory, please complete the submission form. Submissions are accepted at the discretion of the website maintainer. We regret that we may not be able to include all submissions.

L. Dual Diagnosis Chat Room
Here's an opportunity for realtime, on-line discussion with others who are interested in issues and topics related to dual disorders. The chat room is open twenty-four hours a day. We have designated 2PM, 8PM, 9PM, and 10PM (EDT) as suggested times to meet others online in the chat room. (Note: The Chat Room is designed to work best with Netscape 2.0 and a 28.8 kbps modem. If you do not have the correct software/hardware configuration, you may be unable to make use of this feature.)
