Since
1971 The Seldom Scene has been a driving force in the world of
bluegrass music by playing bluegrass on their terms.
A
documentary chronicling the 35 year history of The Seldom Scene is in
the works. Through interviews with band members past and present,
live concert footage, live concert recordings, archival photographs,
fan photographs, and more, their story will come alive.

Documentarian G.T. Keplinger, informal Seldom Scene “historian/
archivist”, fan and friend of The Seldom Scene has been working on this

for several years. Now in honor of the thirty-fifth anniversary of The
Seldom Scene it’s time for their story to be told.
