53. Benjamin (Ben) Leonard6 Jennings (Samuel5, Daniel W.4, John William3, Benjamin2, James1) (#775) was born May 17, 1869. Benjamin died March 12, 1943 at 73 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Alexander Miller Family Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Betty Lee Brizendine. (Betty Lee Brizendine is #1761.) Betty was born October 7, 1884. He married Bettie (Mary Elizabeth) Miller April 16, 1890. (Bettie (Mary Elizabeth) Miller is #714.) Bettie was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia January 21, 1873. Bettie was the daughter of Alexander (Pomp) Miller and Annie Maria Jennings. Bettie died June 26, 1908 at 35 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Alexander Miller Family Cemetery.

Benjamin (Ben) Leonard Jennings and Bettie (Mary Elizabeth) Miller had the following children:

child 128 i. Percy Howard7 Jennings (#778) was born April 16, 1892.

child + 129 ii. Harry McCoy Jennings Sr was born March 10, 1894.

child + 130 iii. John Lawson Jennings was born July 20, 1897.

child 131 iv. Mary Annie Jennings (#781) was born in Clifford, Virginia May 30, 1900. Mary died April 03, 1955 at 54 years of age. Her body was interred in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, Fort Hill Memorial Park. She married Grover Alexander Goolsby Sr in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, June 28, 1919. (Grover Alexander Goolsby Sr is #1747.) Grover was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia January 18, 1886. Grover was the son of Read Alexander Goolsby and Minerva Sprouse Goolsby. child 132 v. Nora Babel Jennings (#782) was born March 18, 1901.

child 133 vi. Rosa Mattie Jennings (#783) was born December 29, 1903. She married Herbert Melton. (Herbert Melton is #1759.)

child 134 vii. Della Stokes Jennings (#784) was born June 26, 1907. Della died September 05, 1907 at less than one year of age.

child 135 viii. Oscar Lloyd Jennings (#785) was born June 25, 1908. He married Myrtle Pickeral. (Myrtle Pickeral is #1760.)
