thank you for making my first
trip to Alexandria's Fire Flies
a great experience.  Looking forward
to hopefully returning in the near future.
Next stop is the noteable
Notaviva Vineyards in Purcellville.
This will be my first time at this venue,
and I can't wait. Hope to see you all there
on August 7th! Be sure to buy some wine
and drink it for me!

When I wrote my little song for Tim
Russert, I had no earthly idea that anyone
would even care. But it has become sweetly
apparent that people do care, and that hopefully
I am helping the healing in my own small way.
I also had no idea the media would be
interested, NBC being the first ones who came
by and filmed me on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
They were quite kind to such a shy soul.
The story aired on the 11 o'clock news.
Then on Sunday, Channel 7 came by.

But most of all it is the passerby I am
affected by, the ones who come by and say
"Thank You," the ones who take the time
to bring their flowers, gifts, that touch me
the most.

A lady brought a rose over to me. I told
her I don't deserve it, that's for Mr. Tim.
And she said, "No, that's for you."

Moved...beyond words.....thank you.

Hitting the Road Feels Great!
This year I've already had the pleasure
of visiting Smithfield, Raleigh, Greenville,
Goldsboro and Goldsborough in the beautiful state
of North Carolina, plus several trips to PA where
I had a wondrous time in Philly, Allentown,
Bethlehem, and everywhere else. You all made
it SO worth it!! Thank you--you KNOW who
you are! :-)
