Families of deceased Parkville American Legion Post 183 members desiring funeral home visits from the visitation team should have the Director of the funeral establishment contact the Commander at the telephone number listed above. Family members may, if they wish, also contact the Commander. If calls are not returned within a four hour time frame, please call the Post on (410)665-9339.
Note: At least a twenty four hour notification should be given to the visitation team so they may make calls to our team members. Any Questions: contact the Commander.
Note: If a visitation is not being requested for a deceased Legionnaire, a member of the family should still contact the Post to notify us of the death of a Legion Member. Please give the following information: Last Name, First Name, M. I. and any Suffix( Sr., Jr,. etc.) and the Address. This will allow us to process the paperwork in a timely manner.
As a courtesy to the families of our recently deceased members, we are sending them at least one
issue of The Patter Parade after our member goes to Post Everlasting.
