Keyless Entry

The keyless entry system is working very well on our Lounge door.  As of January 1, 2006, if you have a keyless entry card and have not paid your 2006 dues for the Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion; your entry card will be invalidated and you will not be able to use it to gain assess to the Post.

Of course, you may still use the buzzer to get in.  Anyone who uses the buzzer must be prepared to show his or her up-to-date membership card, so please have it ready. If you are not paid up to date, you will be urged to pay then or you will be asked to leave the premises.

Effective March 1, 2005

We have finally used up our initial supply of 4,000 keycards and we had to order additional ones. The new keycards are lighter color but basically the same card.

The problem is the cost of the new keycard is now $5.00 each, therefore we will be charging $5.00 for all new keycards that we issue and $6.00 for lost/replacement keycards.

Note: You do not have to replace your existing keycard.

Over the past several months, we have received 40 Key Cards that have stopped working. Of these, 21 were cracked, mangled, etc. The other 19 just stopped working. The manufacturer will not replace any Key Card that is physically damaged. They will continue to replace the cards that just stopped working.

Any Key Card that is returned damaged, i.e., cracked, mangled, peeled, chipped, etc. will not be replaced for free. These will be treated as lost cards and we will be charging the holder $6.00 for the replacement card.

We will continue to replace all cards, at no cost, that have just stopped working and are not physically damaged.

Please keep your card in a place in your wallet where it will not be subjected to bending or other abuse.

We will Never forget you...

We will never forget our POW's and MIA's
