Greetings, Hope everyone is doing well. With the weather getting nice it sure would be great to see more of you at the meetings. The May meeting will be a time to remember honoring those who have gone to meet their maker this past year and honoring Gold Star members who's family member paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please come out to take part in this very important program.
June is our election and we are looking for a President and Historian, all other offices have been filled. Thank you to those members who are so willing to give their time to our Auxiliary. I would like to say thank you for the honor of being your President this past year.
A big THANK YOU goes out to all my officers and chairmen for all their hard work. I am very proud of all of you! Congratulations to Oneda Donato and all the Past Presidents for a very successful Big Band Dance. Thank you to the all other members who also helped with the dance. Thank you again!

Come and enjoy the fun! Sit and relax, play BINGO, and have a nice lunch. Doors open at 10:00 am and $7.00 covers your lunch and one card. Bingo will be held on May 26th and June 23rd. We do have Gift Certificates that you can purchase.

GOLD STAR - LOIS KAUFMAN
A Gold Star member is any Auxiliary member who is a wife, mother, daughter or sister who had a husband, father, or sibling who perished during a wartime period as declared by Congress. If you are one of these ladies (or know of one), then you/they may be eligible to be a member of our Unit's Gold Star Program. Our Auxiliary will pay your membership dues and honor you for the most ultimate sacrifice you have given.
The Auxiliary Past Presidents are holding a Big Band Dance (16 piece band) on Friday April 3,
2009 - 8:00 pm to 12:00 am with open bar, potato chips and pretzels at $20 per person. Feel free
to bring your own snacks. This is a dress affair - NO JEANS. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO
HELPING WOMEN VETERANS.
Some tables have already been reserved, so make your reservation as soon as possible by contacting: DONNA GALLAGHER . All tickets MUST BE PAID for by March 21, 2009.
