Based on the experience and work performed on the supply support systems for the Naval Air Command, this paper presents the application of Systems Thinking (ST) method and i-think modeling and simulation that can provide insights and improvements in a generic requisition process. The use of Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) will be illustrated in identifying the hidden problems in the AS-IS requisition process. The modeling and simulation of the TO-BE requisition process will be demonstrated to show how an optimum process can be generated and how a fixed budget can be spent wisely to result the most efficient and effective process.
