HENRY HARRISON HEFLIN

Henry Harrison Heflin was born Mar. 3,1906 in Loudoun County, Va. and died Jan. 11, 1998. He married Jennie CIANGO in Virginia. Henry worked for the District of Columbia Police Department. Jennie died on Mar. 3, 2000. Henry and Jennie lived in Chillum, Md. They are buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.






  MARY & JAMES LANE

Mary Jones/Dillon was born May 1853 and died on March 20, 1908, and is buried in the Tanner Cemetery in Scott County, Va. She married James Lane in Scott County, Va. on Nov. 13, 1872. James was born on Dec. 1, 1855, and died on Dec. 2, 1920. Mary is the half sister of Navada's great grandmother, Alafare Barnett Gibson. Mary and Alafare are the daughters of Rachel Jones.






       MARY DOVIE BELCHER & FAMILY

Mary Dovie Belcher was Navada's mother.Caroline Sproles was Navada's grandmother and Jefferson Baker was Caroline's brother.






LAURA, JEFF & CAROLINE BAKER

Laura Baker was born c. 1877 in Tennessee. She married (first) Walter Turner (second) Tyler Maxey. Her brother, Jefferson, was born Dec. 8, 1876 in Sneedville, Tennessee. Their sister, Caroline (Navada's grandmother) was born Oct. 15, 1867 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky. They are the children of Wallen W. Baker and Sidney Warren Baker.






    WALTER & EVELYN TURNER

Walter Bedford (Jack) Turner and Evelyn Bernice (Minton) Turner.  Jack was born Sept. 26, 1903, Evelyn was born Oct. 16, 1913. They were married Aug. 30 1930. Walter Beford Turner was the son of Navada's grandmother's sister, Laura Baker (Turner)(Maxey). Walter Bedford died February 22, 1960.






ORVILLE & LILLY NICHOLS

Orville Nichols and Lilly (Belcher) Nichols.  Orville was born Feb. 14, 1884 in Hancock County, Tennessee. He was the son of Granville Nichols and Sarah Delph Nichols. He died August 13, 1942 in Blackwater, Va. Lilly Belcher Nichols was born July 15, 1890 in Hancock County, Tennessee. Lilly was the daughter of Caroline Baker Belcher and McClellan Belcher. Lilly died December 6, 1929 in Stonega, Virginia. Lilly was the sister of Navada's mother, Mary Dovie Belcher Smith Gibson.






         JAMES & MARTHA DINGUS

Martha Belcher Dingus was born circa 1879 in Lee County, Va.  She was the daughter of Simeon and Celia Belcher and the sister of Navada's grandfather, McClellan Belcher.  Martha died Oct. 8, 1921 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia(Wise County).  James Dingus died February 1917.
