LIFEGUARD LIFEGUARD
In accordance with the laws of the United States as they pertain to free speech, orderly assembly, and peaceful protest, LIFEGUARD seeks to educate the public, recruit and drill members, uphold a standard, and mobilize prayer in support of front-line, pro-life activities. These activities include Christian witness, intellectual rebuttal, client counseling/referral, and necessary consolation for those involved in the abortion activities. All of this is in furtherance of Lifeguard's principal, twofold, Holy Spirit-inspired mission: the saving of innocent life slated for death in the nation's abortuaries and the eventual elimination of all abortion in America and beyond.
As a Christian organization LIFEGUARD appropriately refers to Sacred Scripture and its proper interpretation as a basis of the organization's legitimacy. Accordingly, the following Scriptures are presented as supporting Lifeguard
's reason for being: "Listen to me, all of you in far-off lands: The Lord called me before my birth. From within the womb he called me by my name" (Isaiah 49:1); And now saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be His servant (Isaiah 49:5); Thank you for making me so
wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. You workmanship is
marvelous--and how well I know it. You were there when I was being formed in utter
seclusion! (Psa1m~139 14-15); On you I depend from birth; from my mother's
womb you are my strength. (Psalms 7 1:6); ...and He shall be filled with the Holy Spirit
even from his mother's womb. (Luke 1:15); When you came in and greeted me, the instant I
heard your voice, my baby moved in me for joy! (Luke 1:44); Yes, I'll tell you things
entirely new, for I know so well what traitors you are, rebels from earliest childhood,
rotten through and through. (Isaiah 48:8)
