What's New ?

Okay, we confess to sucumbing to temptation of fame, fortune and... alright, not that much fortune. But in short, we (Sarah, Janet and Myranda) are now White Wolf freelancers, and have been spending far more time writing for publication than for ourselves, or this website. So if you've wondered why we're all pasty and pale and not answering emails, well... see the results below:

With his faithful companion and lover, the koldun-priest Ilias cel Frumos, at his side, Myca pursues his sire's political agenda among the fractious Tzimisce of Hungary, and attempts to unravel the puzzle Nikita represents, a puzzle that has its origins in the ashes of Constantinople and the darkest past of the Tzimisce clan.

The ultimate price of uncovering the truth may be more than Myca is willing to pay—but if he goes too far, the choice will no longer be his to make….

Dark Ages: Brujah by Myranda Kalis Dark Ages: Brujah

Vampires have long memories. For the Toreador Courts of Love, the murder of the fair Lady Lorraine by Prince Alexander of Paris has never been forgotten — or forgiven. Now the Queens of Love have seen their opportunity to carry out their judgment against Alexander and his wily advisor, the Countess Saviarre, and have chosen their agent — the Brujah diplomat Lady Veroníque d'Orleans.

But to meddle in Cainite politics is a perilous task, and should Veroníque fail, it is not the Queens of Love who will pay the price...

The True Nature of Monstrousness
by Myranda Kalis

Road of Sin
by Myranda Kalis
For Cainites of the Road of Sin, to know thyself, one's own needs, ambitions and desires — and to fulfill those needs, ambitions and desires, free of any artificial contraints originating outside one's own mind — is the whole of the law. For true freedom can only come from within, and Sinners seek freedom above all, to fulfill their desires and their destinies as they see fit, not limited by others' petty moralities. For Myca Vykos, the allure of the Road's intellectual freedom is only part of its attraction — for there is also Ilias cel Frumos, Ilias the Fair, koldun-priest of Jarilo, his teacher on the Road of Sin, and the paths of Desire.
Lair of the Hidden
by Sarah Roark, Dean Shomshack and Janet Trautvetter
In the mountains of Transylvania, a perilous secret awaits — a mysterious castle hidden from sight and history, and a cabal of ancient vampires who have made a deadly bargain to keep it that way. Trapped by their own hubris, bitterness, spite, and ennui, the Inconnu of Hunedoara await the coming of the visitors who will save them from themselves… or send them screaming over the brink into hell.

Welcome to Hunedoara Castle. Enjoy your stay....

Players Guide to the Low Clans
Whether marked by their bestial appearance, by madness, tainted by sorcery or simply by being foreigners in medieval Europe, members of the Low Clans are the low-class vampires of the Dark Ages. Some struggle among themselves for the crumbs falling from the high clans' table, or challenge the order of society — to whatever end.

Dark Ages: Ravnos by Sarah Roark Dark Ages: Ravnos
by Sarah Roark
Zoe of Constantinople has seen her city burned by crusaders, and her beloved sire murdered by vampire-hunting monks. Alone and adrift in a foreign land, tormented by sorrow and guilt, she has but one purpose left in her existence — to hunt down the Red Monk Brother Isidro and take vengeance for sire's death. Adopted by the mad Cainite monk and prophet Anatole, Zoe has her opportunity for revenge at last… but will she have the strength of will and coldness of heart to carry it out?

And to Brother Isidro de Compostela, mortal monk of the fledgling Inquisition, Zoe presents a challenge to his faith and his holy mission that may cost him not only his life, but his soul. Their final confrontation sets in motion a chain of events that will shape the history of both Cainites and the Church for centuries to come….

We continue to play (in between deadlines) and add to the stories hinted at in these pages, but alas, have not had time to translate reams of chat transcripts to a decent fiction format. We hope to get back to it soon... in the meantime, look for our names on upcoming White Wolf sourcebooks and fiction anthologies, and drop us a line to nag us about unfinished business here. In the meantime, links to our two major chronicles are below:

The Dragon's Masque
Milan, 1490 – Etienne de Vaillant, Apprentice of House and Clan Tremere, is sent to Milan to investigate the mysterious and sudden disappearance of that Chantry's Regent and Apprentice, but finds himself a pawn in a much larger and darker game indeed – as he seeks out the truth behind The Dragon's Masque.

An Alliance of Shadows
Milan, 1526 – Lasombra, Tzimisce, rebellious Assamites, anarchs of all clans, and the odd Camarilla spy gather in Milan to negotiate their own answer to the Camarilla's tyranny – an Alliance of Shadows that the future Sabbat will some night claim as its genesis.
