Rockville Go & Chess Group at the Pump House Community Center

GO and CHESS are played every Friday night at the City of Rockville PUMP HOUSE Community Center located at 401 South Horner Lane (see map below). There are also games such as Blokus, Carcassonne, Lost Cities, Settlers of Catan, Coloretto, Kings Breakfast, Ingenious, Bohnanza, and Chinese Chess, for those who prefer other challenges. The Pump House community House is a modest facility with a moderately sized den area, a fairly large kitchen, and a modern bathroom. GO and CHESS sets are stored on site. We also engage in community service outreach projects with local municipalities and senior citizen centers. From DC, go north on 355 (Wisconsin Avenue-Rockville Pike) to Rockville (Rockville Pike becomes Hungerford Drive). Turn right onto Park Road (just past the METRO station). At the 2nd light, turn left to stay on Park Road. Make the first right turn onto South Horner Lane. The Pump House is at the end of South Horner. Park on the street, but keep the circle clear.

From Gaithersburg, go south on 355 (Rockville Pike) to Rockville (Rockville Pike becomes Hungerford Drive). Turn left onto Park Road (The light just after the Fire Station). At the 2nd light, turn left to stay on Park Road. Make the first right turn onto South Horner Lane. The Pump House is at the end of South Horner. Park on the street, but keep the circle clear.
