Twenty One Solos for the Classroom and the Concert Hall

Twenty One Solos is a set of solos that go from easiest to most difficult using classical themes by composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and more. Although it can be used as a method book, I use it along side the method as a supplement.  These are not designed to be played in unison but are custom designed for each instrument.  This ensures a smooth progression from solo #1 to solo#21.  In a classroom of mixed instrument beginners this gives some students a chance to catch their breath while others are playing.  More details on how to proceed with the instruction are found in “Teaching the 21 Solos.”
