Good Eatin' Family and Friends
I'm a radical faerie kind of geek, so here's some interesting, maybe weird stuff:
- Silicon Valley Tarot
- I don't know what you think about tarot. I'm more than a little skeptical, myself, although I enjoy the challenge
and introspection that comes with card reading. This deck, though, is something else. No software developer should
be without this deck.
- RFD Magazine
- Reading this magazine is a spiritual experience. Want to find out about the land? Want to find out about rural
fey life? Want to experience the joy of connecting with other faeries? Want to find out about gatherings and fabulous
happenings around the purple planet? This is the authoritative source, and you're invited!
- New Morning Glass
- Mary Kernan and Jack Doebler are two talented glassblowers. Please take a look at their art. They live in Garfield,
Washington, and their work captures some of the sun, the color, and the open spaces of the Palouse prairie in Eastern
Washington and Northern Idaho.
- The 2000 Men's Gathering, "Power, Passion, and
Play"
- I attend a men's gathering every Memorial Day weekend. It's a great experience where you can meet all kinds
of guys - gay, straight, and everything else. The first time I went to the gathering, I wasn't sure how a fey guy
would respond to straight men. I'm still not sure, but this is a weekend of exploration, growth, and truly sublime
silliness. Check it out.
- The Open Hearth Foundation
- A Pagan community center initiative, The Open Hearth Foundation, Inc. (OHF) is a new nonprofit organization
dedicated to providing gathering space and resources for Pagans of all paths.
- Excellent Lesbian/Gay Search Engine
- Need to find that nifty bit of information about gay somebody or lesbian something? Well, let this search engine
help you get your fingers around that information.
- University of Idaho
- What can I say? Ya gotta love this place! The University of Idaho is my Alma Mater. I'm a member of the class
of 1976. The campus is located in Moscow, Idaho, a town smack dab in the middle of the Palouse hills in Northern
Idaho. You can take the boy out of Idaho, but you can't take Idaho out of the boy. While you're at it, check out
the University of Idaho Women's Center. It's part of a liberal arts
education.
- Ask Boomer
- This guy has all the answers, and he's a lot more sane than Dr. Laura. Check this guy out for the best advice
and comment on the internet.
- Mike and Rupi
- I used to work with Mike. He's a software kinda guy--you have to admire that--but wait, there's more! Check
out the gallery of paintings that he and Rupi have created, and you thought that we were all uncultured geeks!
- Affirmation
- In a previous life, I was a Mormon. This site is for sisters and brothers who are connected to the LDS Church
and want the support of an understanding and loving community. I think I'll stick with the radical faeries.
- The burning and itching of hemorrhoids
- For over half of my life, I felt I was sitting on a flag pole. Find out everything you ever wanted to know
about hemorrhoids, then maybe you'll want to join the
National Hemorrhoid Society....
- Hmmm,
How about hernias?
- I just recently had a bi-lateral hernia repair. You hit middle age, and then you just fall apart!
- Wormfarming is back!
- This site has lots of information about worms (earth variety). It's almost religious in tone, and full of compost.
Have you hugged a worm today?
