In June 2006, Dr. Richie Shulman, Captain of Temptress and the 2006 Newport to Bermuda Centennial Race winner of the Gibb’s Hill St. David’s Lighthouse trophy wrote:

"Jenifer and Dane - thank you. As always your prerace information was critical in our success. Your gulf stream analysis was spot on - and Nick Nicholson wasable to take your information and put us right where we were supposed to be. The cold eddy just south of the Stream was a spectacular boost. Dane's weather forecast also got it right. On Thursday night we were convinced that we should go East - and after the Friday AM weather briefings we changed our plans and went West - that did it for us!"
