The school system is in need of substitute teachers. You could substitute only at Grace Miller, have the same hours as your children and still have summers, holidays and snow days off. You could also work the days you select to work.

Grace Miller attendance has improved tremendously. We sincerely appreciate the efforts both the students and parents have made to improve this.

Another problem we need to tackle is tardiness and early student pickup in the afternoon.
Did you know that bringing in your child late and picking them up early disrupts the whole classroom? The teacher has to stop teaching to get the child settled or dismissed in the afternoon. Children whose parents want to pick them up those few minutes early disrupt the teachers from   handing out homework assignments.
Also, did you know that when we bring our children to school late and pick them up early, we are teaching them habits for later in life. We are teaching them it is okay to be late or leave early for commitments.

We understand that your child may have doctors and dentist appointments and this is sometimes unavoidable. Lets make an effort to improve tardiness and early pickups.
