My Yard in Winter

The dogs and I all enjoy the winter the best, but my husband and my brother prefer to be warm.  I keep the house at a comfort level for dogs and both of the men belly ache all winter long about "freezing", while the dogs and I are rejoicing with the windows open (GRIN).

This is only the fenced-in area, but the property goes back almost 5 acres with a creek as the boundary in the back.  Some of the dogs like to swim and we enjoy the privacy and the security that surrounding protected wetlands afford.    This was taken a couple of years ago during one of the BIG snows, the snow is piled up against six foot chainlink so it is at least two feet deep in places-- remember we live in Virginia, we don't get two feet of snow!!!
