(Folklore Village) 		 Cajun/Creole Dance and Music Weekend - Lots of older style Cajun/Creole music. Dance instruction provided by upper mid-west teachers. 
Mar 10-12, 2006  St. Petersburg, FL  Cajun/Zydeco Crawfish Festival - Downtown park event with Cajun and Zydeco Music. May have dance instruction this year - please check. 
     

APRIL

Mar 31 - Apr 2, 2006  Dodgeville, WI
(Folklore Village) 		 Cajun/Creole Dance and Music Weekend - Lots of older style Cajun/Creole music. Dance instruction provided by upper mid-west teachers. 
Apr 7-9, 2006  Pinellas Park, FL  Cajun Cafe on the Bayou Crawfish Festival - 3 day festival put on by a restaurant with Cajun and Zydeco Bands. Free lessons offered between sets.
     

MAY

May 5-7, 2006 Breaux Bridge, LA Breaux Bridge Cajun Crawfish Festival - Long running popular festival with some Cajun dance instruction on Fri and Sat.
May 13-14, 2006 San Diego, CA Gator by the Bay (Zydeco & Blues Festival) - Highly popular festival with continuous Zydeco dance instruction by national and local teachers. More teachers and most instruction of any such festival.
May 19-21, 2006 Daphne, AL Gulf Coast Zydeco Music Festival - 2nd year of event. Zydeco dance instruction offered.
May 19-21, 2006 Deerfield Beach, FL Florida Cajun Zydeco Festival -  2nd year of successful festival. Cajun Zydeco instructors from various US locales.
May 27-28, 2006  Simi Valley, CA  Cajun/Creole Music Festival - Popular festival with a variety of bands. Cajun and Zydeco lessons offered between bands.
May 27-29, 2006  Cedar Rapids, IA  The Taste Louisiana Cajun & Zydeco Festival - Several stages. Cajun and Zydeco dance lessons by experienced instructors.
     

JUNE

Jun 8-11, 2006  Preston, CT
(Strawberry Park) 		 Blast From The Bayou - Cajun Zydeco event with 4 days of music and dancing. Dance instruction by NE instructors. 
~ 2nd weekend in June Raamsdonksveer, The Netherlands
(Zydeco Zity)		 International Cajun Zydeco Festival - Dutch treatment of Cajun and Zydeco music featuring outstanding European bands. Some Zydeco dance instruction.
Jun 16-18, 2006  Moodus, CT
(Sunrise Resort) 		 The Great Connecticut Cajun/Zydeco Music & Arts Festival - Cajun Zydeco event with 3 days of music and dancing. Dance instruction by NE instructors.
Jun 23-25, 2006 Long Beach, CA Long Beach Bayou Festival - Held at the foot of the Queen Mary in the Queen Mary park. A variety of national and local dance instructors teaching Cajun and Zydeco between sets. 
     

JULY

Jul 9-14, 2006 Elkins, WV  Cajun Creole Week at Augusta Heritage Center - Long running event mainly for music but with Cajun and Zydeco dance lessons by national instructors.
Jul 28-Aug 5, 2006  Mendocino, CA Lark Camp -  Multi-faceted folk and country music and dance camp including some Cajun and Zydeco dance instruction.
     

AUGUST

Jul 28-Aug 5, 2006  Mendocino, CA Lark Camp -  Multi-faceted folk and country music and dance camp including some Cajun and Zydeco dance instruction.
Aug 3-7, 2006 Saulieu, France Cajun and Zydeco Music, Film and Food Festival - Burgundy event includes both free and fee dance instruction.
Aug 10-13, 2006 Darlington, MD
@ Camp Ramblewood 		 Buffalo Jambalaya - Long running popular dance camp at new location. 3 or 4 day attendance. Morning and afternoon lessons taught by national instructors. 
Aug 13-19, 2006 Olivebridge, NY   Southern Week at Ashokan - Many workshops in instruments and dance including some Cajun and Zydeco. 
Aug 17-20, 2006 Walker, MN  CajunFest at Northern Lights Casino - Yearly several day event with Cajun and Zydeco music. Dance instruction provided. 
     

SEPTEMBER

Sep 1-3, 2006  Charleston, RI  Rhythm & Roots at Ninigret Park - Roots festival with extensive Cajun and Zydeco performances. Various dance instruction by primaraly New England teachers. 
Sep 9, 2006  Sebastopol, CA  Sunrise Cajun/Zydeco Festival - One day event complete with music and dance lessons throughout the festival. 
Sep 15-17  Corbett, OR 
@ Camp Howard		 Cascade Zydeco Dance Camp - Mountain weekend of music and dance. Dance instruction by national and local instructors. 
     

OCTOBER

Oct 6-8, 2006  Mentone, AL  Dance Vortex 11 -  Changing themed event for Cajun, Zydeco, Waltz and Swing. Dance instruction furnished.
Oct 20-22, 2006 Bristol, UK  Bristol Cajun Zydeco Festival - Indoor event including Cajun and Zydeco dance instruction. 
     

NOVEMBER

Nov 12-19, 2006 New Orleans Western Caribbean and Central America Zydeco Cruise 2006 -  7 day cruise with extensive dance instructions provide by 8 national Cajun and Zydeco dance instructors.
