The IROC ready to go on our honeymoon after my wife and I got married.
The front of the IROC with the Daytona-style hood.
Left front 1LE brakes. Notice the braided stainless steel brake hose and Vette Brakes tie rod adjusting sleeves. The front struts are the original units and still work great with 140k miles on them.
Right front 1LE brakes.
View from the rear with the Dynomax Ultra-Flo Race muffler.
Picture of the old Dynomax Super Turbo cross-flow style muffler. The exhaust couldn't flow very well through it with all of those twists and turns. The inlet is at the bottom left and the outlets at the top left and top right. The exhaust travels through the bottom tube from left to right, gets turned around by the curved diverter piece on the right, through the middle tube and into the open area, then exits through the outlet tubes on either side. The new Ultra-Flo Race muffler is a straight-through design.
Weld wheels and drag tires mounted, ready to hit the track.
The front 15X5 wheels barely clear the 1LE brakes. :)
Notice the shiny new paint and shiny wheels. :)
The rear 275/50 Drag Radials just fit under the quarter panels.
Here's what it looked like after it was stolen and crashed into a pick-up truck a few years ago.
Driving on the road course at Memphis Motorsports Park at the National F-body.org Event - May 2000. Not much lean with 34mm/24mm sway bars and polyurethane bushings everywhere. :)
This is what happens when I lock up my right front tire at 115 mph! :-o :) I had my Hawk race pads in the front 1LE brakes, and this is one of my old 245/45R16 BF Goodrich g-Force T/A R1 tires.

In April 2004, my rear body-to-axle failed at
the
connection from the hose to the junction block. It was a Russell
braided S/S hose. I replaced it with a hose from an Earl's 1LE
brake hose kit I had bought for the front brake hoses.

Sometime in 2003, I noticed that the left bushing shell
of the rear sway bar had run into something and was deformed. I
replaced both sides with new Energy Suspension greasable sway bar
bushings. Here's a picture of the old bushing and shell.
