About me:

I've been married to my wife Christine for over 8 years, who gave birth to our older daughter Cara in October of 1998, our son Patrick in July of 2001, and our younger daughter Julia in May 2004.  We lived in Severn, Maryland, since we were married, but moved last year into a bigger house in Pasadena.  I graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering under the Cooperative Education Program.  As a "co-op" student, I worked at the General Services Administration in Washington, DC, for 3 summers and 3 fall semesters before graduating in December of 1994.  I resumed working full-time at GSA as a Mechanical Engineer in the Heating Operation & Transmission District where I'm the chief (read: only) mechanical engineer for the Steam Distribution System.  My primary interests are working on and racing my '87 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z, reading car magazines, and playing the piano.
