Tom and Gloria

We are Tom and Gloria Bond of Glen Burnie, MD. Our "paws" are our three cats, Zhivago, Mr. Odo, and Gizmo. All three were strays before we invited them in to own us. We'd like to tell you about them.

Meet the Paws!

MR ODO

Mr. Odo is sometimes called Wacky! He gets into everything. If he wants attention he just clears a bureau or desk top. Why give bonks when he can bite? Little bites of course! He loves to be combed and even demands to be groomed with lint rollers. The name was given to him by Tom. He was originally Odo, after the character on Deep Space 9. The people at the vet added the mister and we liked it.

GIZMO

Gizmo is the youngest of the three, although not by very much. He and Mr Odo are close to the same age. He turned up on our porch one day and did not leave. What could we do? Especially when he screams pretty loud for attention. He moved in, settled in, and got fat! He's our biggest cat. Gizmo is a daddy's boy. His daddy can't walk outside without Gizmo screaming for him.

ZHIVAGO

Zhivago has been our baby since 1998. He is a tuxedo cat and very loveable. In fact, he is a total mommy's boy. He cuddles with mommy every evening when she sits down to watch tv. He has the loudest purrs! Zhivago's name came from, of course, Doctor Zhivago. This was Gloria's idea, as this is her favorite movie. Sometimes we call him Son Bun and sometimes The Doctor.

Because Zhivago is one of those "tuxedo cats" he is a member of a group which share his good looks!
