This purpose of this web site is to serve as a reference and news site for competitive high power rifle shooters in Virginia. Emphasis is on the National Match course of fire.

Most Virginia State Rifle Team activities occur at the Calvin Lloyd Rifle Ranges at Quantico Marine Corps Base.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RANGE AT QUANTICO:

From I-95, take exit 148. Follow the signs to the ranges. The rifle ranges are about three or four miles from the Interstate exit. You will know that you are there when you see a large orange and white water tower just next to the road on the right. Best parking is in the paved parking lot between Range 2 and the Scout-Sniper Instructor School.

If you are driving to the rifle range, and you pass by the FBI Academy or Lunga Reservoir, you have gone past the range.
