Major Club Projects

Cancer
Golf Tournament proceeds are used to fund start-up projects at the Massey Cancer Research Center/ Medical College of Virginia. Contribution range from $8,000-10,000 annually. Over the past 20 years, donations in excess of $180,000 have lead to major changes in cancer treatment.
Colonial Heights Kiwanis Foundation
Proceeds from the Humphries Shrimp Feast are used to fund scholarships. Contributions range from $5,000-8000 annually. Recipients are students graduating from Colonial Heights High School. Awards are based upon school performance, activities, and financial need.
Community Service
Pancake breakfast project proceeds are used to fund any projects that are of urgent concerns for the community. Annually $3000-4000 are spend on projects which would benefit our neighborhood. Special emphasis on helping youth.
Christmas Activities
Our clubs assists the Salvation Army collect donations for their 'kettles' during the holidays.  We also adopt a family for the holidays through the Christmas Mother program.
Terrific Kids
Our clubs assists the elementary schools to highlight and reward  kids who need special recognition. 
Iodine Deficiency Disorder
We are working with Kiwanis International to eradicate this disorder affecting children all over this world.
