Educational Foundation Fellowships and Grants 
  • American Fellowships - For dissertation completion or postdoctoral study for women who are US citizens or permanent residents. 
  • Selected Professions Fellowships - Awarded in designated fields where female participation has been low. 
  • International Fellowships - Awarded to citizens of countries other than the US for study in the US. 
  • Eleanor Roosevelt Teacher Fellowships - Awarded to K-12 teachers to encourage gender equity.

Virginia Gildersleeve is a charitable and educational fund which supports projects worldwide focusing on women's educational activities; leadership training; community development; and the advancement of understanding and cooperation among women.
