Cottage Features
The cottage is a small, contemporary summer dwelling (20 x 20 sq ft) with a loft bedroom, two attached bedrooms and two 12 x 20 decks. Because of its size, overnight occupancy is restricted to six people, and 3 vehicles due to parking restrictions. Sorry no pets, no smokers, and families only.
The cottage has a gas-fired space heater, galley-type kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. There is a full-size bed in the loft. One bedroom has a double deck bunk, which can be separated. The other bedroom has rollaway beds. Modern kitchen (microwave, no dishwasher). All beds have foam mattresses. It also has a full size refrigerator, high-speed cable internet connection, cable TV, DVD player, free long distance in the Continental U.S., and BBQ grill.
The cottage is located on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The sand beach is private for residents and guests. Local restrictions prohibit overnight parking for RV's, mobile homes or camper trailers. Our rental arrangements are from 3 pm Saturday to 10 am the following Saturday. The 2008 rate is $1000 weekly, payable 30 days in advance. In addition, we require a $100 security/phone deposit in advance. The deposit balance will be returned after the phone bill is paid. Please supply your own sheets, towels and pillowcases. Other bedding is furnished. Cancellation policy provided upon request.
