Our shared belief of doing Christ's work is rooted in CUCC's history. Our congregation members share the anabaptist tradition found in the three denominations represented when our congregation was founded.

CUCC is proud to be affiliated with:

Church of the Brethren

Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

United Church of Christ

The Church of the Brethren was founded in 1708 and maintains firm roots into the anabaptist tradition. It is dedicated to putting into practice the teachings of the New Testament. One of the historic peace churches, the CoB values the simple life. The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) focuses on Christian unity, the celebration of Holy Communion, and the priesthood of all believers. It was founded in 1832 in the United States. The United Church of Christ was created in 1957 through the union of the Congregational Christian and Evangelical & Reformed church communities. It is a uniting church which emphasizes social justice, cooperation, flexibility, and congregational authority.
