We also administrate the longest running email communication list between more than 240 typewriter collectors worldwide. The List has been managed personally since 1996, not automated, and messages from the membership are forwarded daily. The List is spam-free, and sent in BCC format to help keep it that way.
The List began as a venue to promote comeraderie and knowledge sharing between typewriter collectors, and will be maintained in that spirit! Subjects have included how to effect different repairs, model/manufacture comparisons, how to display typewriters and their accessories and many others. If youre interested in joining this List, please contact us at the dedicated List address of: chuck101@erols.com
Here is what some List subscribers have to say about it:
"I enjoy the List immensely. You handle it very nicely." -Lee Pinkney, California USA
"The first thing I do when I get to my work desk is to check
my email to see if I have any messages from Chuck & Rich's
Typewriter List. If I do I'm happy, if not I'm sad. I have used
this chat forum to ask questions, to sell and buy and to read
what is on the minds of other typewriter collectors for a few
years now and as long as I collect this list will be a part of my
day." -Martin Howard -Ontario Canada
"The List has been an excellent source of information and
communication among typewriter collectors and serves to unite our
worldwide community." -Ron Ronzio, Rhode Island USA
"As a user of "THE LIST" I have enjoyed knowing
what other collectors are talking about and occassionally have
emailed to ask or answer questions and to contribute typewriter
collecting 'tidbits'." -Michael A. Brown, Editor Typewriter
Exchange Newsletter
"Let's just say I like the typewriter list. It's lack
of automation is appropriate for our group of collectors who
freely share tips on acquisition, restoration and other tidbits
about collectible typewriters! A warm and genuine
atmosphere!" -Tony Casillo, NY USA
"I am continually amazed by the wealth of knowledge and
other typewriter resources that can be tapped by posting a
question to the list. A tremendous resource for beginning and
advanced collectors alike." -Mike Campbell, Michigan USA
