Renewal Counseling Center, Inc. is an outpatient counseling center designed to help people who are experiencing emotional, family, social, and spiritual difficulties in their lives. Our professinally trained staff encourages growth in relationships with self, with others and with God. When one's coping skills are overwhelmed by guilt, doubt, anxiety, or despair our stall can help. Renewal Counseling Center provides services to people of all ages. Our staff provides the following services:

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Within the structure of a caring and confidential setting, clients are encouraged toward self awareness and positive personality growth. New decision making and coping skills are offered.
MARRIAGE COUNSELING
The goal of marriage counseling is the resolution of conflict: the development and strengthening of communication skills, and the growth of intimacy and mutual acceptance. With the help of a counselor, couples are taught problem solving skills in areas, such as, sexuality, parenting, and conflict resolution.
CHILD AND ADOLESCENT COUNSELING
A therapist will assess the young person's development in the context of his family, school, and community. New coping and decision making skills are explored. Parents are encouraged to work with the therapist in encouraging the child's growth and development.
FAMILY THERAPY
The counselor acts as a facilitator to help families solve conflict and change behaviors which are not conducive to healthy family life.
GROUP THERAPY
Clients achieve increased self awareness and learn new healthier relational behaviors in a supportive environment. All groups are led by a professional counselor and are limited in size.
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS DEBRIEFING (CISD)
CISD is designed to help groups deal with the intense feelings that may arise after experiencing an event that is out of the ordinary, such as violence in the workplace, robbery, or accidents. This service is also avaiable to churches.
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION REPROCESSING (EMDR)
A client centered approach that uses positive and negative cognitive self assessment and specific eye movements to help individuals relieve distress over certain negative or traumatic events in their life. >
CONSULTATION FOR GROUPS, CHURCHES & ORGANIZATIONS
Professional consultation involving various assessment instruments can prove invaluable for professional and lay staff in areas such as:

conflict resolution
hiring and placement
training and development of personnel
leadership/executive development
performance appraisals
WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS
RCC offers a variety of workshops and seminars on a variety of topics including:

stress management
parenting skills
anger and conflict resolution pre-marital and marital issues

alcoholism
personality typology
adult children of alcoholics

FEE: RCC has a standard fee for service. Any special arrangements are made with the therapist.

INSURANCE: Insurance must cover "outpatient Psycholtherapy by a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW)." Our secretary will assist you in determining your coverage. RCC participates with several insurance plans.
