about me...

Hello!  This is the part of every good homepage where I tell you a bit about me and my interests so here goes:

I'm 44, single and currently living in the suburbs of the City of Brotherly Love.  I like old things (movies, books, friends); new things (people, ideas, gifts of any kind) and cheering for the Philadelphia Flyers.

I'm a vegetarian 'cause I love critters but I don't preach.  Force feeding our beliefs and convictions to others robs them of the chance to discover their own. (It also makes us very annoying at parties!)

I'm a political junkie mostly because I believe that we all have a responsibility to stay informed and get involved but also because I find the whole process fascinating.  I'm a conservative Republican and proud of it but understand that we all need to follow our own hearts and minds.  The only political persuasion I have disdain for is apathy.

Professionally, I'm an Online Marketing Consultant which means I get to design Web sites and help companies succeed on the Internet.  This, by the way, is the closest one can get to being paid to play video games and I feel very fortunate to do what I do.  (As you may have guessed, I really enjoy my work!)

In general, I believe that life is a wonderful adventure and that Mondays can be as much fun as Fridays if you'll let them.

	Back to my love of critters...this is Baxter (also known as "The Baxinator").  This is him in his sweet and adorable mood which takes up approximately 0.2% of his waking hours.
This is the wacky way he spends the remaining hours of his day. We found each other at an animal shelter and would both really appreciate it if you'd remember your local shelter should you be thinking of getting a pet or have some old blankets, towels or money you can spare.
