Obituary of Thomas States Carpenter

He came to Nebraska when he was 19 years old making his home with his uncle at Hildreth.
In the year 1901 he was united in marriage to Mauda Davis, who preceded him in death on July 14, 1926. Of this union were born six children, one of whom passed away in infancy.
He leaves to mourn his loss, five children, Emery of Wauneta, Neb., Everill, Dorwin, Varell and Velma all of Indianola; three brothers, Charles and William of Illinois and Arthur of Hildreth and many other relatives and a host of friends.
After a short funeral service at the home his body was brought to Hildreth for burial. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at two o'clock on Sunday afternoon, March 29.
