PRE-INSEMINATION CHECK LIST

 

1. To reserve service of your mare by artificial insemination, complete and sign two copies of the Transported Semen Contract. Mail both copies of the contract to:

2. One copy of the Contract will be returned to you, together with a Mare Identification Form and a Mare Breeding Passport.

 

3. Immediately complete both the Mare Identification Form and the Mare Identification page of the Mare Breeding Passport.

 

4. Mail to BLACK FOX FARM the completed Mare Identification Form, the stud fee, and a $350 deposit for the semen collection.

 

5. Retain the Mare Breeding Passport for the veterinarian's review and completion on the day(s) of insemination.

 

*STEPS 1, 3, AND 4 MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE FIRST SEMEN SHIPMENT. *

 

POST-INSEMINATION CHECK LIST

 

1. Within 48 hours of the receipt of the transported semen, return the Semen Container and the Delivery and Insemination Certificate for Transported Semen (which is included in the Semen Container and must be filled out by the attending veterinarian), to BLACK FOX FARM.

 

2. Do not forget to tease your mare again starting twelve (12) days after the last day of insemination.

 

3. Do not forget the next veterinarian checks for your mare.

 

4. After the mare is found to be in foal, return by mail to BLACK FOX FARM the completed and signed Mare Breeding Passport (a copy of which will be mailed back to you).
